Lines Of Flight Scoops Prize

I've been working with Rich Heap of Slackjaw on a film about consumerism over the last year or so. It's given me an insight into why he makes the kinds of films – Hard Grit, Hard XS – that have made him so well known in the climbing world. He's an odd mix of metro boffin and quirksome creative. Although Lines of Flight was someone else's concept, his camera work contributes mightily to the success of Lines of Flight, which has just won a prize at the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival. If you don't live on the left coast of Canada, but in the Peak District of England where the film was shot, you can catch Lines of Flight at the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival in March.
